Life as an executioner.(by kishern)

The cries of screams and whimpers,
The pain and agony in the vermin,
Thou cries for ones life spared,
But death lurks while waiting without an act of mercy,
The blade falls on the vermin's neck,
The head falls off to the floor,
Blood gushing and spurring all over,
Which saddens the heart of the executioner.

The executioner feels his sin,
Why take a life under the laws of man,
What punishment awaits from god himself,
What retribution will thou receive,
The executioner hides his emotions with regret,
Not wanting to feel pity for a vermin,
Is this humanity,
The executioner feels the pain,
What is the point of brutal death,
The executioner asks himself,

Every Friday is the day of sadness and frowns,
screams and cries are heard when the time is up,
the executioner gets his Axe polished,
To cut clean of the head of the vermin,
Every time he hears the last rights done by priests,
Before performing the terrible deed,
As the vermin lies,
The executioner does the same thing.
